Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club

The club is located 65 kilometers away from the capital city, Manila and overlooks Taal Lake and volcano, and the drive from Manila takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.

There is also a second course called The Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club, and is also an 18-hole championship golf courses set atop Tagaytay's highest elevations, offering year-round cool weather.

Cable Cars

To ferry you to the course, the Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club has Swiss-engineered cable cars, while the Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club has the country's first and only 48-seater Swiss Funicular system.

Designed in 1995, by American Richard Bigler, Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club, is a unique golf course, located in the Tagaytay region of the Philippines. It is a par 70 course at 5,554 yards.

Bigler has used the local landscape so that all holes contribute to a truly unique and exciting golfing experience. Look at the photos.

With its high elevation and the natural scenic landscaping, the designer has cleverly integrated the human ingenuity with the native elements of its surroundings.

The Highland course’s tight fairways are made up of Tifton 419 grass with Tifdwarf greens. One unique feature is to get back up the mountain on the 10th hole, you can ride a gondola trolley through the golf club’s cable car system.

Situated amidst a dense forest 1,000 feet above Taal Lake, the 400-hectare, their Midlands golf course is a par 72 5,732 yard set up. It is also a championship golf course, with a picture-perfect view of the Taal lake and volcano.

The clubhouse is also known to be the finest when it comes to sports and recreation.
