Der amerikanische Golfplatzarchitekt Bob McFarland hat den Thanont-Golfplatz entworfen. Der gesamte Golfplatz ist von Wasser und einer massiven Wohnsiedlung umgeben, und obwohl er flach ist, hat er einige aufregende Loch-Layouts, die Golfern aller Spielstärken eine vergnügliche Runde Golf bieten. Die meisten Löcher erfordern bei jedem Schlag eine Strategie, um einen guten Score zu erzielen. Die Grüns sind in Ordnung, können aber während der Regenzeit langsam sein.

Several notable holes include five with island greens - holes 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, and 18. This starting hole is a monster 463 yard par-4. A long and accurate tee shot is needed to have a par chance and avoid the out-of-bounds left and large bunker complex to the right. The approach shot requires a long iron or fairway wood to a reasonably open green. The Bangkok golf course signature holes are the long par-4 9th and the par-5 18th. At both holes, players have to negotiate a vast lake that protects the green.

Both holes finish with the green directly below the clubhouse, where a full range of available facilities, including two restaurants, an ample locker room, and a pro shop, are located.
